Scene 1

( Eric comes home from selling lemonade.)

Brother: Some lady called the cops on me today

sister: what did you do?

Brother: I was just selling lemonade outside of her house.

Sister: where?

Brother: down the road on Bundy. Outside the lady's house who just moved there.

Sister: Who were you with?

Brother: just Jamal and tj

Sister: black kids?

Brother: yeah

Sister: racist lady

Sister: Come on, let's go. Black riot

Scene 2

(Eric and MJ leave the house to tell everybody about the black riot,

everybody starts walking down the street towards the lady's house.

When they all arrive at the house they start partying and yelling.

Then the lady comes out. )

Karen: ( to herself ) what the heck

( Them all still cheering )

Karen: leave all of you. Now!

( them ignoring him )

Karen: I am calling the police.

( just as Karen finishes calling the police Mj steps up)

MJ: You know that kid you called the cops on earlier.

Karen: uh

Mj: That was my brother.

( Karen looking? )

Mj: you know so many kids come here right in this spot and sell lemonade, All sorts of kids in shapes, sizes, and even colors. But as soon as my brother comes it is so terrible.

Karen: Leave now!

( MJ puts her hands on Karen's fence )

Karen: get off my property. Now!

( MJ Being smart jumps over the fence )

Mj: Or what.

( a small pause)

Karen: ( Yelling Out ) I am going to make sure the police arrest all of you! (Karen pointing to MJ) Especially you.

(Just as the police turn up ) MJ runs towards Karen and punches her in the face.

Everyone: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Scene 3

( all people in the crowd besides Eric Exit ) Mj starts running away from the police. They drop on the ground. When she gets caught she talks to Karen.

Mj: Racism is one of the things that hurts the most to people. So you will also pay.

Police: Karen put your hands behind your back you are also under arrest.

Karen: for what

Police For being Racist.

Scene: Moral of this play is never to be racist because it hurts people and  you will always have to pay the price.

Pool Trip

 Last week on Friday Room  3, 4, and 5  went to the town pools. The teachers called it a fun day because it was the end of the year pool trip. The town pools were really amazing!  Kids were doing manus, bombs, and diving. It was really cool because when we came back from the town pools we played a game with Rooms 3 and 4. The game was called Capture the flag, it was really enjoyable. The school handed out sausages to us. We had a great day.
